Return to School:

Your Feedback Is In

By Lance Davidson - Deputy Principal

& Dave Hughes - Head of Learning & Innovation

What a few weeks it has been! It has been terrific to see the faces of our students again (in person) and get to reconnect with parents (from a distance!) in the carpark.

Thank you so much for your patience and good humour with the gradual introduction of classes and changed pick up/drop off procedures that were implemented to keep everyone safe.

Thanks also to the 200+ parents and carers who completed another survey for us, this time in relation to how we are going with the Return to School program. We really appreciate your feedback and consider it carefully in making decisions as we move forward.

Our latest survey results are in and we are pleased to note that overall the system is working extremely well! You have reported very high levels of satisfaction in relation to the pick up/drop off procedures (90%) and in relation to health and safety needs being met (90%).

85% are very satisfied in relation to your children's wellbeing needs, and 81% are very satisfied in relation to learning needs. In light of the complexities we have all had to navigate, I believe this is a wonderful achievement and a great testament to the Belgrave Heights Christian School community.

In response to our question regarding online Parent/Teacher Interviews in Term 3, close to 80% of parents and carers were interested in attending these. You will hear more information regarding these shortly.

If you do have any feedback about the Return to School program, we encourage you to send an email to learnfromhome@bhcs.vic.edu.au.

As we head now into the school holidays, we wish you all the best and hope that this time is one of rest and connection for your family. May you experience fresh joy and appreciation at seeing friends and extended family once again.
