Congratulations to the

BSC Year 8 Boys Baseball Team

Year 8

Nine Year 8 students went to Mill Park baseball/softball grounds earlier this term  to participate in the Northern Metro Regional Finals for baseball. We played against three different high schools from the region.

The first game we played was against Eltham High School and then we played Epping Secondary College. We won both games. These games were lots of fun and tested our teamwork and skills.  After we won these games we were headed to the final against Montmorency Secondary College - a school with a strong baseball reputation.  We played out a very close game but in the end Montmorency took the win 7-5.

Overall, we did an excellent job getting to the final and we were all proud of each other. There was no complaining that we didn't get the flag,  as we had played with three players short.  In spite of this,  we had all still tried our best.

And we will be back.... a better and stronger team next year!
