Great Victorian Bike Ride
Cycling: there's no better way to see the Victorian countryside
Next Saturday, Abbie, Max and Jackson (Year 7) and Ben (Year 8) together with teachers Natasha Prewett and Emily Nancarrow and two parents will set off for Preshil's inaugural involvement in the Great Victorian Bike Ride.
This is a fully supported nine-day bike and camping tour of Victoria, starting in Bright and winding its way through Beechworth, Tallangatta, Rutherglen, Yarrawonga, Glenrowan and Benalla. The total ride distance is a whopping 524 kilometres!
The group has been diligently training over the last several months and last weekend participated in a two-day ride from Lilydale to Warburton and back.
