Cooking

The students were so excited to be finally back in the Gallery to practise their cooking skills with Mrs O’Keefe. The smells emanating from the Gallery reminded us all that Christmas is not far away! The Spiced Christmas Muffins not only smelled great, they tasted delicious too! Level 3 Teachers will be posting the recipe to Seesaw once their class has completed the Cooking Rotation.

Science & Sustainability

In Sustainability the students have been investigating what it means to be Sustainable at home, at School and what Sustainability means on a Global context. To demonstrate their learning students were required to create a ‘Sustainability Poster’ highlighting this important issue. Some examples are below.

In Science, students continued to learn about Endangered Australian animals and what we can do to help protect them. Additionally students considered things we can do to support these animals to be removed from the Endangered Animals list. Below are some posters that our students created.

Garden Harvest & Garden Maintenance

Paddy was extremely happy to have our Level 3 students helping him in our gardens. Students engaged with planting, raking, harvesting and maintaining our beautiful fruit, vegetable and herb gardens. A very busy time given it is Spring with lots to do!
