FILM COMPETITION

Hidden Others

A group of eager and enthusiastic year 7 and 8 students signed up for the Salvation Army Hidden Others  film competition. The competition requires students to make a short film that breaks stereotypes and raises awareness of youth homelessness. As part of their research, the students went into the city and visited Salvation Army headquarters. They then went on a walking tour and participated in a workshop on youth homelessness.

The students are now preparing their films for the July deadline. They have learnt a lot about homelessness and filmmaking.
