Year 7:      Bailea Dagan

Bailea lives with her parents and her older brother Jaqson.  Her other two older siblings have already left home and begun their independent adult lives.

Bailea has two dogs that would normally be considered odd friends: Charlie the pug and Nike the French Mastiff.

When she can, Bailea likes to travel back to Shepparton to visit her friends as her family only recently moved to Healesville to manage the Big4 Caravan Park. Bailea is extremely happy with the move as Melbourne is not so far away now and there is a Kmart within a 25 minute drive as opposed to the six hours she would have had to travel before.

Bailea is looking forward to the annual family holiday in October this year, particularly since the destination remains a mystery.

Bailea enjoys Art and Sport the most at school and is really hoping to improve her outcomes in all her subjects this year.

Bailea has made some great new friends since starting at Healesville High School, so every day is filled with laughter and fun.

Bailea would really like a career in hospitality as this is what she’s grown up with in the caravan parks and hotels managed by her family.

Year 8:     Melissa Ross

Melissa lives with her parents and younger brother James. Melissa has a dog who is a Kelpie x Smithfield called Daryl, a bearded dragon called Beardy and four chickens who remain nameless but are definitely not for eating.

In her spare time, Melissa likes to play basketball for her local team and always looks forward to going with her family to Lake Eildon so that she can go water-skiing and knee boarding.

Melissa is hoping that next year her family repeats their trip to Kakadu National Park so that she gets to visit Jim Jim Falls because the swimming is amazing and it’s an incredibly beautiful place.

Melissa enjoys Sport, History and Woodwork at school and her main focus this year is to try and get an A on a Maths test.

Melissa also enjoys going roller-skating with friends and working on improving her basketball skills by playing friendly games with mates.

Melissa would really like to pursue a career as a swimming coach or a photographer as these are both great passions of hers.

Year 9:   Holly Wallace.

Holly lives with her parents, older sister Kelly and the family dogs, of which, there are approximately 12!!!!! However only one has the privilege of living inside and that is Jess the 10-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer who is far too much of a princess to go out hunting with the other dogs.

In her spare time, Holly likes to go Swimming and to the football to watch her beloved Richmond demolish their opposition and maintain their top position. She is feeling a little stressed about how to get her hands on some Grand Final tickets as they can be very tricky to come by but as always, she has a plan. Holly really wants Richmond to go back to back with Grand Final wins and feels they are on-track with achieving this. Holly also enjoys the odd shopping trip with her friends or a girl’s night with popcorn.

Holly’s goal for this year is to improve her Science skills as she has identified this is an area of need. Holly feels that she’s improved her Maths this year and is happy with her current outcomes.

Holly has rather differing goals for the future and is undecided as to whether she wants to be a Vet or a Chef and may even just be both as pet health is an ever-expanding industry.
