NAPLAN Preparation
NAPLAN is fast approaching, and all students in Years 3, 5 , 7 and 9 have received a parent information sheet that outlines the process involved. If that somehow didn't make its way into the hands of parents, you can find relevant information at www.nap.edu.au
NAPLAN will be completed online at Cornerstone this year. Week 3 and 4 next term is the scheduled sitting dates and a detailed schedule will be provided to parents in the lead up to the tests.
ANZAC Day Participation
We would like as many of our students as possible to be part of the Anzac Day parade on Thursday, 25 April. This is during the second week of the holidays.
The Busselton RSL has asked us to gather at 8:45am at the corner of Queen Street and Marine Terrace on the day.
Students who will be attending are asked to give their names to their House teacher or student leaders. Students will need to wear their winter uniform, including tie (where appropriate) and school jumper for this event.
The event includes a march down the main street of Busselton followed by the service taking place at the Cenotaph in Victoria Square.

Interim Reports and SEQTA
Primary Interim Reports have been prepared and distributed to all parents and Primary Parent meetings are available this week.
For Secondary parents, we remind you to check your child's SEQTA account. This is a real-time program that allows you to see the very latest results and academic tracking of your child and this has most value when parents and students are regularly visiting the site. If parents would like to discuss the progress of their child please contact the relevant class teacher to arrange a meeting time.

Winter Uniforms Term 2
As we step into the Winter months, please remember that the uniform for many students will change to the winter uniform.
Of particular note, we wish to remind parents of Year 11 and Year 12 boys, that the tie for these students is not the grey tie utilised by the lower Secondary years. Ordering the Senior School tie, if required, should be done now to ensure your son is ready for the new term.
