2019 Sacramental Program
A reminder to parents who are intending for their children to participate in this year's St Augustine's Sacramental Program that the program will commence next week - the week beginning Monday 6th May. If you have not returned your registration forms, could you please do so as soon as possible. Forms may be returned to either the Parish or School Office. If you need a form please contact Alma at the Parish on 03 5852 1026.
Would You Like Your Child to be Baptised into the Catholic Faith?
Expressions of interest are open to parents of children over the age of 7 who would like to be baptised into the Catholic Faith. if you are interested in participating in a Baptism Program for older children please phone Alma at the Parish on 03 5852 1026.
Welcome and Cuppa
We welcome visitors and parishioners to our Mass this Sunday and invite all to stay and enjoy a cuppa after Mass.
Liturgy Meeting
The next Liturgy Group meeting will be held on Wednesday, 8th May commencing at 5.40pm.
Church Cleaners - Important
Police checks and Working With Children Cards are not required for church cleaning volunteers. We do request that you lock the doors while cleaning. We have a number of forms yet to be returned, which the Parish needs to be compliant with Child Safety Standards. There is every possibility that our Parish will be audited shortly. It would be appreciated if you could sign and return your child safe forms to the Parish Office as soon as possible. Finola Price (our Parish Child Safe co-ordinator) will again be available at the Parish Office on Wednesday, 8th May between 9.30am and 2.00pm if you require help with your forms or need to collect new forms.
Notes for Parish Office
If you have something you wish to drop into the Parish office, but find it difficult to get to the office during Parish Office hours, please feel free to put the item in an envelope marked 'Parish Office Staff' and drop into the letter drop beside the Parish Office door, or put on the collection plate at a weekend Mass. Please don’t forget to put your name and contact number on the note.
Tongala Mass for May
Fr Jinjo is saying Mass at Sacred Heart Parish in Tatura while Fr Michael is away on 5th and 12th May. Because of this, Mass at Tongala for May will be held on Sunday 19th May (3rd Sunday of the month) at 11.00am.
Cakes, Scones, Coffee and Chat
St Augustine’s Ladies Coffee and Chat is being held on Thursday, 16th May at 2.00pm – but with a change of venue. The Cake, Scones, Coffee and Chat will be held at the Fauna Park Café, Kyabram. All welcome.

Stronger Youth Rally, St Kilian's Bendigo
All young people, aged 15-26, are invited to the next Stronger Rally in Bendigo with Fr Rob Galea to be held on Friday 14th June from 6-9pm. Come along and enjoy some food, games, music and the chance to further explore your faith. St Kilian’s Hall, Bendigo, from 6-9pm.
