Year 4 Bike Education

This week the Year 4 students participated in a Bike Education program which consisted of theory lessons and cycling activities within the school grounds.

A BIG thank you to all the Year 4 parents who assisted. It is essential that we have parent help to run this program - you were a great help and did a fantastic job - we could not have done it without you!

Alfie L (6D) & Luca S (6C)

Last term (Thursday 4 April), Alfie L and Luca S from Year 6 were successful in the first round of the School Sports Victoria (SSV) Australian Football trials. They were two of 26 students that were chosen from a group of around 50 from the Kingston Division. The next round of selections is on Monday 13 May where they will compete for selection against other children from the Region.

Little League Minor State Championships

Over the Easter school holidays we played in the baseball Little League minor state championships. We played six games over two days and we were very excited to win all six of the six games. Some games were very close and sometimes we won by a large margin. Together we scored about 11 runs between us for the tournament.

It was lots of fun to play with team mates from different parts of the Southern Mariners region. We both enjoy baseball and playing pitcher and catcher together so it was great to be on the same team.

We got a trophy for winning the whole tournament and everyone on the team got a medal.
