Join the AAFC 414 Squadron in 2021

Now that the year is almost over, Cadets is once again looking for new 2021 recruits!

This year more than ever the world has shown us that it needs a strong set of confident leaders that can problem solve, are resilient and are able to work in a team to achieve their goals.

The Australian Air Force Cadets can help you achieve all this and more, offering many different activities to help you increase your skills in a range of areas including survival, organisation and more.

What do cadets do? Activities include…

  • 4 multi-day camps per year (both in the bush and in cabins)
  • Flying activities + camps
  • Bush Rogaines (Navigation challenges)
  • Single day excursions and Community Parades.
  • Air Force related studies such as Aviation, Aircraft Recognition, Service Knowledge, Drill & Ceremonial and Fieldcraft.
  • Learning vital First Aid and CPR, achieving a First Aid Certificate in your second year.

“Go for it and try it out!... Even if you’re really unsure, I would suggest just to come and take a look and see what we do, as if you don’t, you may never know what you have missed.”
