Australian Maths Competition Finalists

This year has been quite the experience for everyone.  Many of us were barred from participating in the activities that we appreciate the most. However, what better way to lift the spirit than a Mathematics Competition?!This year, 119 students from MGC sat the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) online and worked their way brilliantly through a series of challenging and mind-boggling scenarios. For many, this has been their favourite activity so far in 2020 (well…. I haven’t  asked anyone but I’m sure I’m right…..).

Despite all the brilliant competitors, we have decided to award the 5 students with the highest grades a voucher from MGC, and here they are:

• Naoko Ogawa Javes (Year 8)
• Ruby Monro (Year 8)
• Chloe McCormick (Year 8)
