Catholic Schools NSW

Here is the latest advice from Catholic Schools NSW regarding COVID 19 ...

COVID restrictions including some changes that took effect from the 1st of December

End of year presentations and dinners:

  • Parents are allowed to attend.
  • The total number of people allowed to attend is to be calculated using the 4 square metre rule (including students, staff, and visitors).
  • All attendees (including staff) are required to sign in. This record must be kept for at least 28 days.
  • Anyone who is unwell is not to attend.
  • Students do not need to socially distance but all adults (by household) must maintain the 1.5m distance.
  • Any external visitors must go straight to the presentation site and leave immediately after.

All adults visiting a school must comply with the COVID-safe requirements including personal hygiene, infection control, and physical distancing guidelines. All visitors must sign the external visitors form each time they visit the school regardless of the frequency and duration of the visit.

Safety and Hygiene

  • Physical distancing is not required for students.
  • Physical distancing is not required for staff interaction with students.
  • Physical distancing requirements remain for adults.
  • During the day, teachers encourage students to use hand hygiene products and to cough/sneeze safely.

Water Bottles

Students should continue to bring water bottles from home to fill at water bubblers rather than drink directly from the bubbler.
