Confirmation  Information for  students attending  St Bede's in Year 6 2020

Each family  will receive the following information in the next few days in letter form

Dear Parents,

The Sacrament of Confirmation for the 2020 Year 6 class will be celebrated on Thursdays 25th February 2021and 4th March 2021, at 5.30pm in St Bede’s Church.

As there are still some CovidSafe restrictions in force, please carefully note the following:

• Each candidate and sponsor may be accompanied by up to five other people. Children over the age of one year are included in that total.
• All attendees must book in on arrival via the parish QR Code. As this will take some time, please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
• Seats will be allocated for each family. The candidate’s name will be on the end of the pew.
• Masks must be carried by all those required to do so. They do not need to be worn in the church as long as social distancing is maintained. In any event, people are free to wear their mask if they are more comfortable doing so.
• There will be a limited number of extra places available. If you wish extra people to attend, please e-mail the school office ccomand@sbedesbn.catholic.edu.au by Friday 5th February. You will be informed the following week if spaces are available.
• Only children who attended St Bede’s, Year 6, in 2020 will be able to be accommodated.
• To assist families with planning for the evening, the Mass should take approximately one hour.
• No photos are permitted during the Mass. A group photo will be taken at the end of Mass, and there will be opportunity for family photos after the end of Mass.
• The school has arranged for a professional photographer, Adrian Bekkerto take photos of the candidate/sponsor & family.  There will also be a group photo of the candidates taken. This will be held in the Jarrow Room.

Candidate/sponsor & family photos will be taken between 4.00pm - 4.45pm.

A group photo will be taken @ 5.00pm.

Envelopes will be posted to you regarding ordering.
