2021 Parent Payments

Glen Eira College is looking forward to continuing our tradition of delivering high quality education and wellbeing programs for our students in 2021. Glen Eira College works hard every year to keep the cost of items and activities to a minimum and affordable for all families. Your contributions support our ability to meet the diverse need of our students, and to ensure our teaching staff are equipped with great materials and facilities to run programs successfully.

Thank you to those families who have been able to make a contribution for essential student learning items and the general voluntary contributions including Facilities and Building fund.

A 10% discount on Essential Student Learning Items applies if full payment is made on or before 28th February 2021 or a payment plan has been entered into prior to this date. Items such as Instrumental Music, Electives, CNED, Edrolo are user pays and payment must be made.

There are several methods of making payments including, XUNO (Events and Fees and Levies), Cash, Cheque, BPAY, EFTPOS, Centrepay, and instalment plans.  Parents experiencing financial hardship are able to enter into confidential payment arrangements by contacting the nominated parent payment contact person, the School Business Manager (Gabrielle Darvell) on 9571 7838 or  gabrielle.darvell@education.vic.gov.au

Camps, Sports & Excursions Fund (CSEF)

The CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.

If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families. The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.

The annual CSEF amount per student is $225 for secondary school students.

Please find attached the CSEF application form.

If you applied for the CSEF here at GEC in 2020, you do not need to complete an application form in 2021 unless there has been a change in your family circumstances (such as a change of custody, change of name, concession card number, or new siblings commencing at the school in 2021).

You only need to complete an application form if you are new to GEC in 2021 or you did not apply in 2020.

Please contact the General Office on 9571 7838 if you have any questions.
