Tech tips : Naplan Lockdown Browser

Downloading the NAPLAN Lockdown Browser

In the next couple of weeks, Year 7 and 9 students will be participating in trial tasks to assist with the testing of school and state systems for NAPLAN Online in Term 2.  

To prepare for this all students in Years 7 & 9 will be required to download the lockdown browser, which provides individuals with secure access to the testing platform.

Students will be given time in their Daily Connect classes to complete this download so that by Tuesday 15 March they are able to participate in the initial system trials.  

Resources about the lockdown browser and the online testing process in general are available via the ACARA Online National Assessment site.

Students will also need to have a set of device compatible headphones for this these trials and the NAPLAN Tests in Term 2.  Connect Tutors have been asked to check in with students around their access to these items over the coming week.  If you have any concerns about your child having access to a set of headphones, please contact Tennille Seary.
