Dates to note:
Friday 18th March: National Day of Action Against Bullying & Violence
Students will participate in lessons and activities to explore the themes of kindness, bullying and inclusion.
Monday 21st March: Harmony Day
Students are invited to wear something representing their cultural heritage or cultural dress. Alternatively, students are invited to wear orange, the colour of Harmony Day.
Monday 21st - Friday 25th March: Harmony Week
Classes will participate in activities throughout the week to explore the theme of Harmony Week: 'everyone belongs.'
Teachers will present special Harmony Week awards at our Friday morning assembly.

Next Friday 18th March is the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence. As we prepare to acknowledge this day, the short article below from parenting expert Michael Grose is a very worthwhile read.
The theme of this year's day of action is "Kindness Culture: It Starts With You." Students will explore what it means to build a culture of kindness and participate in activities around this theme to continue to build our incredible St Joey's culture of kindness.
One way we acknowledge kindness in our community is teachers acknowledging students showing kindness in the playground by awarding house points.
