STEM - 

Middle L/T

Collaborative Award - for the amazingly impressive manner the children in this class collaborated with and assisted others during our design session yesterday. To be collaborative is an important life skill and most of you this week collaborated and helped each other. 

Well done and you should be very proud of yourselves.

Seniors

Collaborative Award - for the great team work you showed when we had to combine two classes to play a competitive game of netball. You were excellent team mates, you accepted the umpire’s decision and collaborated creatively and strategically to try to work as a team as well as possible
Mandarin - Junior S

Creative Award- for the amazing ‘about me’ lego people you created. I was very impressed with how you all listened to the instructions and were able to make your person and introduce them by saying your name and age, with an added flair for costumes and powers.

Well done Junior S! Keep up the good work!

Visual Art - Juniors

Creative Award - for your stunning Shadow Drawings!  You all did a fantastic job at tracing and casting the shadows of the tree branches.  You were then able to use water-colour paints to beautify your art.  The way you held and used your paint brushes was very grown-up!  

Well done everyone!

Performing Art - Junior SCreative Award - for your wonderful acting skills in our very special Black Box Theatre this week. You had lots of fun and showed bravery by trying new ways in using your bodies and facial expressions while performing as different characters.
Performing Arts Rising StarXander in Prep - for your bravery and tremendous performance while practising your acting skills this week.

SPECIALIST CLASS AWARDS

STEM - 

Junior S

Collaborative Award -  for applying themselves in their STEM lesson which involved using their laptops and logging onto Seesaw. You tried very hard, helped each other, listened to instructions and in most cases DID NOT GIVE UP, even when things didn’t go exactly to plan.

P.E. -

Senior L

Creative Award - forthe amazing way you have worked with others in your various teams and positions during our last netball session. You were energetic, motivated and creative. You displayed great initiative, you looked for opportunities to make your team better and to involve team members in the game.

Mandarin - 

Middle A

Collaborative Award -  for being patient and having a go at the task. Middle A were challenged with making a pokemon card in Mandarin. They all worked really hard, listened well and helped each other to complete it. 

Visual Art - 

Seniors

Creative Award - for your very striking Shadow Drawings… you all did a beautiful job tracing the shadow of the branches.  I was very impressed with how you worked your ‘colour families’ to help make your artwork come to life!  Well done everyone :)
Performing Art - PrepCreative Award - for the amazing way you can listen to the music and move your bodies in time with the beat. You guys sure know how to cut a rug!!!!
Performing Arts Rising StarJacob - for entertaining us with your comedy skit this week, it was both very funny and impressive… your acting talent for accents and improvisation is amazing!!!!  Congratulations and thank you Jacob!
