Sport

This week in sport has been very challenging, with weather conditions affecting all outdoor sports, and forcing us to postpone the Swimming Carnival.

The good news is that the weather can only possibly get better in the future and we all cannot wait to see all of our teams back in action.

Our Basketball teams were the only ones able to play during the weekend past, and we were proud to have them represent us in the way they did! A positive attitude was displayed by all and it was impressive to see so many of our teams put in such a spirited performance.

Winter Sport Choices

The form for nominating winter sports choices has been delivered to all students and announcements regarding trials for these sports will be forthcoming in the coming weeks.

ISA Swimming

The ISA Swimming Carnival will be held on Wednesday, 9th March at the Sydney Olympic Park (SOPAC). By the end of the school day on Friday, all permission notes will have been sent out and we are excited to have been able to nominate a team and have our students represent us!

Student Achievement

In other - and very exciting - sports news, Amelie Hugo (Year 10) recently ran strongly to finish 4th in the Women’s U16 400m Final at the NSW Junior Athletics Championships at Sydney Olympic Park last weekend. Amelie ran her third National qualifying time, and looks forward to representing NSW at the Australian Junior Championships at the end of March!  Bravo, Amelie!
