Performance Opportunities

Co-Curricular Music Ensembles

All Co-curricular Music ensembles have now commenced rehearsals for the year. However, we are still keen to have other musicians and choristers join one or more of our ensembles. Rehearsal times are listed below:

At BMGS we have a fabulous team of talented and experienced Music tutors available for private music tuition during and after school hours.  Tuition is available on the following instruments:

Gondwana Voices- Sydney Children’s Choir

Applications are open for the Sydney Children's Choir, and all children who love to sing are invited to join them in 2022.

 

At the Sydney Children’s Choir, children can find their voice, develop their musical skills and be part of something truly extraordinary.

 

No auditions:  Children up to Year 5 will be placed in the choir most suited to their age. They will listen to children in Year 6 and up so that they can sing in the choir most appropriate for their level of musical and personal maturity.

Playerlink Applications are now open 

Three immersive days of nothing but music!

The ultimate development program for young talented musicians, Playerlink brings together the best and brightest music students from across the state for a series of masterclasses and sectional workshops led by musicians of the Sydney Symphony.

 

Playerlink is a great opportunity to gain practical insight and develop musical skills in a series of masterclasses, workshops and performances, all under the guidance of Sydney Symphony world-class musicians.

 

Young, talented student musicians in Years 5-12 are now invited to apply for the Playerlink 2022 student workshop.

 

Playerlink will be  held at the Northern Rivers Conservatorium in Lismore, applications are by audition video. Friday 27 May- Sunday 29 May
