Supporting Junction 142

International Women’s Day | Supporting Junction 142’s Showering Program 

Older women have been recognised as the fastest-growing group of homeless people in Australia in recent years. Many women experiencing homelessness lack even the most basic items that a non-homeless person can take for granted.

This year for International Women’s Day, we’re seeking donations of unopened, in-date toiletries. Donated items will be given to Junction 142 to support the organisation’s showering program.  

Items needed include:

• Toothpaste
• Toothbrushes
• Shampoo 
• Conditioner
• Deodorant
• Soap or body wash
• Sanitary products

Collection points:

• Junior School students at Springwood and Wentworth Falls can leave their items at reception. 
• Senior School donations will be organised by Pitt House who will liaise with the Senior School tutor groups.
