Community Survey

Dear Parents

As we emerge from two years of COVID-interruption, students and staff of our fabulous school are excited to be back in the flow of school life and learning face to face. As we adults too re-accustom ourselves to normality, after a period of personal, professional, family and societal reflection, it is a great time for the BMGS community to be reviewing our priorities as articulated in our Strategic Plan, set in 2019. 

At the commencement of my time at BMGS, we used a range of methods to gather people’s perspectives about what is great about our School, the things that need to change and the direction in which the School should head. After a series of face to face workshops with staff, students and parents we instituted a biennial survey. The Board and School leaders then processed the data from each of these consultations and formulated a Strategic Plan we called Vision 2020 and Beyond. It can be downloaded here.

As planned back in 2019 and after a slight COVID-delay, this term, we will again use ‘Perspectives: Your School in Focus,’ a school-wide industry standard survey tool administered by the Association of Independent Schools of New South Wales (AISNSW), to gather feedback from our community. This survey will be available from Monday, 21st March to Thursday, 31st March 2022.  This survey will further contribute to the valuable feedback received from the Staff survey conducted in late 2021, that has already prompted a number of positive changes and improvements.
