St Patrick's Cathedral Reflection

On Thursday 17 March we attended Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral to celebrate Catholic Education week with other schools from the Archdiocese of Melbourne.

We went on the train into Parliament station with Mrs Gridley and Mrs Buscema.

St Patrick's Cathedral was amazing, the structure and size was incredible. It felt like a palace and was truly magical. The detail in the windows was really cool and quite unbelievable.

The mass was very special and the choir was beautiful. The whole celebration was really well executed by all the Priests and Bishops. It was such an honour to do a reading on the altar at St Patrick's, in front of everyone and to celebrate Catholic Education. It was even more special as our school is celebrating our 150 year anniversary, this year.

After Mass we had a photo with Archbishop Commensoli, then we walked around the back of the altar to look at the different Chapels where there were many murals and statues of saints. It was fascinating to read all about the past Arch Bishops on the plaques.

It was a great day, a wonderful experience and an honour to be a part of such a special occasion.

Connor and Jasmine (School Captains)

Italian Captains

Congratulations to Kirralee and Sheridan for being appointed the 2022 Italian Captains.

I am certain that they will be an excellent support, assisting and promoting Italian throughout the school this year. It was wonderful to receive so many fabulous applications for the role and thank you to all those who applied.
