We got out the magnifying glasses in F/1 Science this week to help us with our exploration of living things. We looked at all sorts of living things such as flowers, leaves, our growing grass and even the roots of weeds we pulled out. We found leaves on the ground and looked at them very closely. We noticed little straight lines on the leaves which are actually the veins! The veins on the leaves are what help carry the water and food to the leaves. How cool!
