Years F/1

On Monday, we discussed our favourite parts about the Picnic Sports. For our Foundation students, it was their very first time competing for their team of Glenelg or Wannon. The students had many highlights but their favourite part was all their families coming to support them on the day.  We thank all our special visitors and families for cheering us on!!

We then wrote and drew about the Picnic Sports.

Aria - I got lots of ribbons.

Evie - I like the sack races.

Rocco - I liked the running races. Go Blue team!

Edith - I liked the sack race.

Billie - I saw my Nana.

Jaxon - I loved the running races.

Hunter - I liked the sprints on the oval.

Ivy - At the Picnic sports I got a lot of ribbons and had fun. My favourite sports was the balloon race.

When Claire pops in, we love to help in the garden too. This is a great opportunity for our students to try new things to eat and help look after our school garden!

On Friday, we had lots of fun wearing our pyjamas to school.  Mrs McNaughton read Llamas in Pyjamas by Matt Cosgrave and we made our own llamas using different patterns and colours. They looked gorgeous!
