GSG camps
Warmest greetings from our Year Nine camp at Karridale, in the southwest. I am fortunate to be spending the week on camp with a respectful group of students in a beautiful location to enhance our educational experience.
A GSG camp experience provides opportunities to develop positive relationships with the environment, other students and ourselves through interaction with each other. These relationships are essential for the wellbeing and sustainability of individuals, society, and our environment.
So far the camp has been a resounding success. New skills learnt, friendships formed and a deeper appreciation of nature.
2024 Scholarships - register now
We value our diverse and talented student body.
The School selection process for scholarships reflects the holistic nature of the educational experience of the School. Great Southern Grammar makes available opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds and financial capacities. Successful applicants will be students who are committed to their studies and can demonstrate involvement in other interests as well as their community.
While academic application is important, we are interested in well-rounded students of good character who will embrace this opportunity and make a positive difference in the life of the School.
School Routines
The school year is well underway and routines are now well embedded. There is great positive energy around the school at the moment. Our cocurricular program has begun with Horizons, swimming carnivals, camps, music ensembles, and sport. I’m sure your routines at home have also begun with study time, school transport arrangements and the general organisation of each school day, including lunches. School routines are important in reducing the anxiety that may exist for some students.
