Watch it Grow!

This term, Level 1 and 2 students will be exploring how living things grow, change and have offspring similar to themselves. This unit aims to:

• Capture students’ interest and find out what they think they know about the way living things grow, change and have offspring similar to themselves. 
• Elicit students’ questions about the life stages of living things.
• Provide hands-on, shared experiences of the life stages.
• Provide opportunities for students to represent what they know about the way living things grow, change and have offspring similar to themselves, and to reflect on their learning during the unit.
