Secondary Swimming Carnival

It was perfect conditions for the secondary swimming carnival, with a high number of students attending to support their teammates and faction.

Breakfast Club and Running

Breakfast and running club has started up again for 2023. We rejoiced by encouraging and cheering each other on as we took to the course at our own pace - some walking, some running, some doing a combination of both. We all made it to the end and enjoyed breakfast at the Breakfast Club!

Runners club is every Wednesday this term from 7:45am meeting on the oval. All are welcome - students, staff and parents!

Year 9 Drama Class

The Year 9 Drama class are exploring Kabuki, a Japanese theatre style. Students are working on creating masks based on makeup designs for traditional Kabuki characters.

ENGAGE the Community - Year 3 and 4

Last week the year 3 and 4s had the opportunity to meet Shelley from the Surf Life-saving club. Shelley has volunteered her service for 15 years and still continues to help our community in this way.

Mrs A. has been working hard to ENGAGE our students in and with the Busselton community. The aim is for the students to know what differences they can make in our community, how they can be the difference with their servant hearts and attitudes and how they can make a difference in their community through their acts of service. 

Scripture Union Visit

Scripture Union visited last Wednesday to take the year 3/4s and year 5/6s through some teamwork games and activities. A few of the leaders were past students here at Cornerstone, it was so exciting to see them facilitating a great program and to have them share their belief and faith in our amazing God. Thanks for coming and spending the day with us Scripture Union WA!
