Principal's message

Welcome to 2023

It has been a great start to the new school year at Lynall Hall Community School, with the mood at both sites being generally calm. This is the first year of VCE - Vocational Major, which has brought some changes to routines at Richmond and Coburg, but these have been adjusted to well. We're also really pleased to be seeing solid attendance in our Junior Year 7/8 group.

Parent & carer welcome bbq

This past week we hosted a welcome bbq for students' parents and carers. There was a healthy turn-out of families, and it was lovely to see staff, students and families socialising together in the one space. This is a tradition that has been interrupted by the pandemic of the last few years.  

School council

School council plays an important role in our school. This is to assist the efficient governance of the school, ensure decisions are made having regard to the best interest of the students, enhance the educational opportunities of students at the school, and ensure the school and the council complies with legal requirements and regulations.

In 2023 there will two vacancies for parent members of our school council. A nomination and election process will take place in March. Please get in contact with me if you would like any more information.
