Mentoring Program Years 5 & 6

The College continues to provide an additional one on one peer support program for any Junior School student who wishes to participate. If your son would like to be part of this program, could you please advise a member of the College’s counselling team using our general email, scounselling@stpiusx.nsw.edu.au who will be able to provide you with relevant information on the program.

In brief, the program involves linking your son with a suitable, trained peer support leader in Year 11 or 12 who provides your son with the opportunity to be mentored in a variety of activities throughout the year. Some examples of those activities include rock climbing, bush walking, beach swim, morning teas and most importantly, a caring respectful senior role model who will promote friendship and connection for your son.

For organisational purposes, please indicate over the next two weeks if you wish your son to be involved in the program.
