Parents & Friends

🌾There were tough decisions galore at the Mother’s Day Stall on Friday. It was so interesting to see the ‘shoppers’ who took their time carefully examining everything on sale before purchasing, and the ‘shoppers’ who walked up and purchased the first thing they saw.

It was an amazing effort from our group of volunteers who got through all 19 classes in just under 90 minutes.

There are so many people to thank - it really does take a community to make these events happen.

Thank you to Heidi, Emily, Mais, Dayna, Veen, Vincya, Alice, Emmanuelle, Jess, Liz, Tegan, Andy, Chalani, Karry, Michelle, Rick, Huy and Heloise. You were all sensational! (Apologies if I’ve forgotten anyone!)

Thanks also to Joel, Naomi, Justine and Gill for running the Kindergarten stalls too over two days.

Thanks also to Griffin & Bella from 5/6W for marshalling the grades, and Mr O’Hern for making sure it all ran smoothly, as well as Ally & Sue for handling the money raised.

And BIG thank you to Emily and Dayna for also helping sort gifts earlier in the week.

Your family may be having a challenging time due to job loss, illness, injury, or financial stress. Please know that you can reach out to Jess to let her know what you need - eg. groceries essentials, some snacks for lunchboxes or a few home cooked meals. Jess reaches out to her volunteers who provide what’s needed and both parties stay anonymous to each other.
