Catholic Identity and Mission

Mr John Ryan - Deputy Principal

Think of the love too deep for words to express.” Mary MacKillop 1870

On Monday April 26, the College will have an ANZAC liturgy with staff before school in the College Chapel. The same liturgy will be delivered by all College homeroom teachers at the commencement of the College day.

Here some extracts from the Liturgy:

John’s Gospel is a section of Jesus’ last talk with his disciples. You can imagine Jesus trying to impress on them the most important things to remember after he has gone. Loving each other as friends, means making a commitment. This could mean dying for that person.

In the context of ANZAC Day we can remember the hundreds of young men and women who died for their countries. Whatever we know of the politics of war, it does not detract from the great love those young people showed their families and communities.

How do I promote peace in my life and society?  Students will pause and reflect
