Years 1 & 2 Concert

Parents of years 1 & 2 students and Start Up Strings are invited to our end of term concert.

Featuring:

Venue: School Oval in front of Music Room

Progress Report: Drumming

In years 3 to 6 we have been practicing our basic rock beat on drums.

This involves coordinating hands and feet to perform a pattern.  We all practice this in the air using body percussion and then each week four students get to try out the pattern on the drum kit. Before we work on our class ensemble.

Despite a few set-backs, many children are beginning to master the skill.

Here are a few examples. Well done to all years 3 – 6 students!
