2021 Languages Competition

To celebrate language learning at Vermont SC, we are running a competition open to all year levels. The best entries will receive $50 vouchers and winners will be awarded their prize at our Languages evening on the 23rd of June. 

Here’s what do you have to do to enter:

Junior competition (years 7, 8 and 9):

Make a short video (30 seconds maximum) about your favourite French or German word (depending which language you study at school). Talk about what it is you love about this word. Make sure the video is creative and visually interesting. 

Senior competition (years 10, 11, 12):

Make a short video (30 seconds maximum) about your favourite French or German phrase or idiom. The senior video should be done in the language with accompanying subtitles in English. 

Due date: Tuesday 1st June 2021 

Where to submit your work: On teams, directly to you Languages Teacher. He/she will let you know where to upload it. 

Prize: $50 voucher for the best French (junior and senior) and German (junior and senior) video.
