Good afternoon families,

Prayer for Week 4 in Lent

The spiritual task of life is to feed Hope

Hope is not something to be found outside us

It lies in the spiritual life we cultivate within

The whole purpose of wrestling with life is to be transformed into the self we are meant to become, to step out of the confines

of the false securities and allow

our creating God to go on creating.

                           In us

District Swimming Sports

Congratulations to our swimming squad, who competed yesterday in the District swimming Competition. They represented St Louis with great pride and had fun along the way.

Congratulations to River and Amelie who will go onto Regional's next Tuesday. We wish them all the very best.

Grade 6 Camp

We are very excited that our grade 6 students are going on camp next week. This will be the first camp for these students and their excitement is palatable. The camp is at Phillip Island Adventure Park at Cowes. Thank you to all the staff that will be attending camp. It promises to be a great week for all of us.

Assembly

Grade 5 AI and Grade 2 AB will be presenting at this Monday's assembly. Parents of these students are welcomed to attend.

Classroom News

The Grade one classes are having a visit from the  police on Tuesday as part of their Health and Safety unit.

Administration Building

I have employed the architect company of Crosier Scott to work with us on designing our new Administration building.

Work Zone Notification

We have been contacted by a family who is building a new house in Helm Street. They wanted to advise our parent body that they have paid money to the Council to have a 'Work Zone' established. This means that no cars are allowed to park in the space extending from  35-37 Helm Street between the hours of 7 - 5pm. Anyone car who does park there risks being fined.

Enjoy your weekend
