AUSTRALIAN YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Ten students out of 46 Athletes were selected to participate in the Championships held in Coolangatta from Friday 30 April to Sunday 2 May.

The students who attended were Angus Apps (Year 9), Sam Kay (Year 11), Will Kay (Year 11), James Kay (Year 9), Stephanie Baker (Year 11), Max Chilco-Burns (Year 11), Kyla Peel (Year 9), Molly Forehan (Year 10), Amber Lotzof (Year 11) and Sam Chilco-Burns (Year 8).

Sam and Will Kay won the Gold Medal in the Under 18s in a thrilling match.

Kyla Peel who was also playing in the championship has also represented Victoria in 2019 in Under 14s Indoor Volleyball winning Bronze and Beach Volleyball Under 15s in 2020.
