Next Generation Leaders

NEXT GEN YOUTH FORUM @ LA TROBE UNI

Twenty students from NHS recently joined 400 others from schools across Victoria at the Next Gen Youth Forum, held annually at La Trobe Uni to further develop young people’s leadership skills and increase their social awareness.

The keynote address from Jason Ball, the 2017 Young Australian of the Year and pioneering LGBTI advocate, kicked off a day of memorable and inspiring life stories and workshops. Although each workshop was distinctively different, each had similarities in that they left all participants captivated and inspired to make a difference in the community. We hope they will use this inspiration to find their own ways to effect positive change in our community in the future.
