It is hard to believe we are completing Week 6 of Term One. It has been amazing to have our students present with us for a good period of time with only minimal interruption. 

After the completion of our initial units of work each level is now focused specifically on  our school value of Collaboration, the Personal and Social Capability and the learning areas of Health and Digital Technologies. Our Year Three to Six students are also delving into 'Civics and Citizenship.' Each of these areas of the Victorian Curriculum have a broad goal. These goals include:

 Health Broad Goal

The goal of the Health and PE curriculum is to empower students to enhance their own and others’ physical, social and emotional wellbeing; and to contribute to building healthy, safe and active communities.

Civics and Citizenship Broad Goal

The goal of the Civics and Citizenship curriculum is to develop active and informed citizens who participate in and sustain Australian democracy

Digital Technologies Broad Goal

The goal of the Digital Technologies curriculum is to assist students to become competent and creative users and developers of digital solutions.

Personal and Social Capability Broad Goal

The goal of the Personal and Social Capability is to assist students’ understanding of self and others, in order to manage their lives, work and learning more effectively.
