Seed Collecting

We could not thank our SMPS community enough with how many seed donations we have received the last few weeks. Our leaders started to count and managed to get only 1/4 of the way through which was already 180 seeds!

We are still collecting so if you are still shopping at Woolworths, keep bringing those seed donations in!

Working Bee - March 20th

We have a working bee booked for Saturday March 20th @10-11am onsite. This is open to all family and friends who can give a helping hand to help clear our Level 1 garden of its dead plants. Even if you can spare 5 minutes, we will certainly appreciate it!  You will need to register your attendance. You can find the link on our Families and Friends page.

Things to bring:

  • gardening gloves (if you have any)
  • gardening spade/shovel (if you have one)
  • face mask (adults only)
  • drink bottle

Please head over the Families and Friends page for more information.

Help Our School Community Garden

Our school is competing in the Colgate Community Garden Challenge!

The schools that collect the most oral care waste and online votes can win a recycled community garden set!

The competition hasn't started yet but we wanted to get a head start!

Bring in any used/finished oral care products to school to recycle. There will be a box on the ground floor for students to recycle these products brought from home.

See below what products can be brought in to be recycled.

Our Sustainability Heroes of the Week

Our Sustainability Leaders have been our greatest heroes. They have taken their new leading roles very seriously and are contributing amazing ideas at our fortnightly meetings. Behind the scenes they are volunteering their lunchtimes during the week to help keep our organics system running smoothly. We are very fortunate to have such dedicated and professional leaders.
