Environment Sub Committee News

There have been lots of things happening this term to improve our beautiful grounds at Wonga Park including – 

• The Prep Imagination Garden project complete with a new creek, water pump, sandpit and mud kitchen.  The new cubby is about to be installed too!
• New creek, water pump and log steppers along Lantana Drive 
• Five new basketball backboards 
• The new Dudley Reserve Playground has been completed by Manningham Council and
• Works on retaining walls, arboretum seating and the SAKG fencing around our BER building to install more fire-resistant timber (funded by DET)

We are planning another working bee in Term 3 and are investigating our next major environment projects including the development of the space under the oak trees at the front of the school.  We’ll keep you posted!

The Education sub committee has been working hard to review policies that Wonga Park Primary School has in place.

What a wonderful celebration we had at our Mothers' Day Breakfast.  

There are more exciting events planned for Term 3 including the School Disco, Fathers' Day Breakfast, Fathers Of The Oak events, WPPS Ladies Night and more.

Finance Sub Committee News

Our fundraising efforts are continuing as we work towards to commencing the construction of our new Music Room building.  Parents are invited to contribute with a tax deductible donation to the Wonga Park Primary School Building Fund.
