From The School Leaders

 YOUNG LEADER’S DAY

National Young Leaders Day was an incredible experience. We boarded the train early in the morning, then travelled to the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre. There, we heard the inspirational stories of many icons and leaders in our community, such as Jimmy Rees, an actor and comedian, Michelle Young, a firefighter, and many more. 

They told us their stories, and how they persisted to be successful. They showed us how they became who they are, and the mistakes they had made as well as their achievements. As leaders of the school, we learnt mistakes are always a space for learning. We really appreciate having this opportunity and we wish we could do it again.
