Assistant Principal's Message

Student Safety

In recent weeks we have had a few incidents involving our students and members of the community as they drop off/collect their children.

Please chat to your children about walking safely to and from school. You can support discussions we are having at school by talking to your children about checking both ways prior to walking across a road, crossing Dudley Road using the supervised pedestrian crossing outside the school and being aware of traffic.

Parents, please make sure that you are observing the speed limits around the school. As you approach the school you will notice there is a 40km permanent speed limit on Dudley Road and please always keep your eye out for students.

We encourage you to contact us regarding any concerns.

Digital Technology

We are excited to share that Everyone Can Create will return in Term 3. Please keep your eye on future communications regarding content of the sessions and how to book into the sessions.

Cyber Safety Project

Earlier in the year the Cyber Safety Project came to again work with our students, staff and parents. The team works with WPPS annually and our staff ensure that cyber safety sessions continue for our students throughout the year. It was pleasing to see so many parents join the online parent sessions, it is important to remain current with Cyber Safety issues.

Stay home when unwell

The most important action school communities can take to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19, is to ensure that any unwell staff and students remain at home and get tested, even with the mildest of symptoms.
