Respectful Relationships

This term, we will be exploring 'Stress Management' and 'Help-Seeking' as part of our Respectful Relationships program. We will meet Wibbly, a character who is feeling quite stressed. The children will examine what it means to be stressed, what causes stress and some important coping mechanisms and relaxation techniques.

 

We will then be moving into the 'Help-Seeking' unit of work. The children will use strategies to solve problems they might face at school and at home, will create ways to help their friends to problem solve, and will role play appropriate ways to ask for help.

 

School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS)

We are continuing to practise our SWPBS values of being respectful, safe and responsible learners. We have been working hard to receive values tokens in the classroom and playground.
