What is Children’s Day?

National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day is our national day to celebrate our children each year on 4 August. It’s an opportunity for us to show our support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, as well as learn about the crucial impact that culture, family and community play in the life of every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child.

Schools, Students and Traffic

Parking restrictions are imposed by Council at and near schools to ensure a safer environment for all children and to optimise traffic safety and movement.

Please familiarise yourself with the City of West Torrens Council - Schools, Students and Traffic rules. Councils have been out fining drivers in our local area.
