From the Senior Sports Master
WELCOME BACK...
After having enjoyed School Sport being back for Terms 1 and 2 in 2021, unfortunately we have once again been impacted by the COVID-19 Global Pandemic as we head into Term 3.
With Greater Sydney currently in lockdown and the number of COVID-19 cases continuing to grow within the community there is a great deal of uncertainty as to what impact this will have on School Sport.
At this point in time all sport scheduled to take place in the first two weeks on the Calendar have been postponed with plans to reschedule these later in the term dependent upon the restrictions imposed by NSW Health and Government moving forward.
Whilst this is a very challenging time for us all, we will continue to work closely with the ISA and the other sectors to hopefully be able to provide some school sporting opportunities for our Students in the not too distant future.
Once information comes to hand we will certainly keep you updated.

CSDA Debating Competition
A massive congratulations to our Year 12 B team who won their Wednesday night and Friday night debates in the last week of Term 2. We now have our Year 11, Year 9 and Year 12 teams through to the Quarterfinals of the CSDA Debating Competition. The pre-COVID outbreak plan was for St Pius X College to host the Quarterfinals this Friday. The latest direction from the CSDA is that we are in a holding pattern, waiting to see the outcomes for Sydney over the next couple of weeks. As soon as information is received from the CSDA it will be passed on.

Training has been temporarily suspended until further notice. We look forward to hopefuly resuming the season in the near future.
