Curiosity At Home Living & Learning

What a whirlwind we have just been on!  I'm not sure in 22 years of teaching that I have ever experienced a beginning of a term like this one.  But, I am grateful that it gave us the opportunity to think differently about learning at home and how we can support our families.

Thank you to everyone who participated and gave us feedback on our online learning platform.  It was wonderful to see so many families engaged in the program and to view the images of children at play come back to us.  What an amazing job you did in supporting your children whilst being at home for 7 days.  Well done!

There are a few resources that I wanted to share with you which would have come in our next edition.  These resources come from the Australian Childhood Foundation.  Both these online books are available for free on their website and are lovely tools to open up conversations with your child about why people are wearing face masks and how sometimes it is not 'safe' to share a hug due to social distancing.  Even though we are back to 'life' outside of the home, there are significant changes that our children will still need support in understanding.

If at anytime you feel that your child or family needs support, please let us now.  We are here for you!
