Scoresby Secondary College @ Swinburne Youth Space Innovation Challenge Program
Science faculty are so thrilled to share this exciting news that we have a team of students working towards Space Challenge Program organised by Swinburne University.
This program is supported by the Australian Space Agency and Rhodium Scientific, this 11-week program teaches secondary students in Years 10 and up all about the space industry and how to design solutions to unique space-based problems. There is still much to learn when it comes to the microgravity environment. How will organisations like NASA support astronauts as they travel to the Moon, and beyond to Mars? Your students can contribute to this important area of research while developing STEM skills.
What students are saying?
‘The ability to learn, then bounce ideas and share with mentors was incredible and motivated me much more than other learning models.’
‘This has opened my eyes to the various different courses that I didn't even know existed.’
‘I thoroughly enjoyed this taste of university life and am looking forward to my future experiences there.’
