Platform 81 Drop In
For the first time ever, Platform 81 is open for drop in!
Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, head down to Platform 81 and join us for a bunch of awesome activities and hang with our youth team.
Drop in is available for young people 12-25 who are linked with City of Kingston (live, work, study).

Our youth committees are recruiting for new members. Whatever your interest, we have a group for you!
Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)
Our YAC provides young people the opportunity to advocate and advise Council on key directions for youth issues within the local community.
By joining the YAC, young people can gain an valuable insight into how strategic directions are developed, gain an understanding of local government and have access to key networking opportunities across a range of areas.
Universal Magazine Committee
Our Universal Magazine Committee is a group of talented and creative young people who collaborate together to develop our Universal Magazine
.Joining the committee provides hands on experience through the development of a quarterly print-based magazine, valuable training opportunities and can contribute to folio pieces.
FReeZA P81 Events Committee
The FReeZA P81 Events Committee is a group of young people passionate about supporting and promoting the talents of local young musicians within the City of Kingston by running a variety of music, recreational and cultural events for young people throughout the year.
Joining the committee gives young people training, hands-on experience and networking opportunities across other FReeZA groups and within the music and events industries.
Young Women's Mentoring Workshops
Our Young Women's Mentoring Workshops run throughout the year and provide opportunities for young women to gain insights and learnings from other women who are experts in their field.
Our workshops are fun, engaging and feature a line-up of amazing women, each with their own unique journeys.
Through their story telling, young women can use what they have learnt to propel them to set and achieve their own goals.
Each workshop will also provide valuable networking opportunities.
Fully Funded Short Courses
Gaining employment can be challenging for some young people and it can start right from the beginning - writing your resume.
Kingston Youth Services are hoping to provide opportunities for young people to overcome some of these challenges by offering fully funded short courses so young people can gain skills or upskill in order to add to their resumes.
Pride Connect
Pride Connect is a new initiative for Kingston Youth Services created to provide a safe, inclusive social space for our LGBTQIA+ young people 18 -25 years old.
Pride Connect provides an opportunity for young people to hang out and explore the complexities of being part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Aspendale Youth Cove (AYC)
AYC is back for the school term at Aspendale Gardens Community Centre with a great line-up of activities.

All activities are free for young people connected to the City of Kingston (live, work, study).
Kingston Youth Services is committed to providing safe spaces for young people to socialise and engage in various activities.
YA Chat is a safe and inclusive space for young people to meet socially and discuss a variety of topics including pop culture, music, TV, podcasts and books.Grab a friend and join our youth team monthly at Parkdale Library.
