GOTAFE Nursing Information Session
Career Expos 2023
Students in Years 9, 10, 11 and 12 will have the opportunity to attend a Careers Expo this month.
Year 12 VCE & VCE VM students
VCE and Careers Expo at the Caulfield Racecourse today, Friday 5th May.
This is a whole day excursion. There will be no VCE or VCE VM classes at the College on this day.
Year 11 VCE & VCE VM students
Victorian Careers Show at the Melbourne Showgrounds on Friday 19th May.
This is a whole day excursion. There will be no VCE or VCE VM classes at the College on this day.
Year 10 students
Tomorrow Bound at the Bendigo Stadium on Thursday 25th May.
The students will depart at 9.00am and return at approximately 2.00pm.
Year 9 students
Careers Day Out at DECA, 145 Wanganui Road Shepparton, on Wednesday 10th May. The students will depart at 12.00pm and return at approximately 2.30pm.
An Operoo notice will be sent to Parents/Caregivers. Students will be required to wear their full school academic uniform and to provide their own lunch, snacks and water bottle.

La Trobe University: Aspire Community Contribution Program
Aspire Community Contribution Program rewards your involvement in community, leadership and volunteering with an early conditional offer into your chosen course at La Trobe University.
Applications open: April 2023.
Applications close: August 2023.
Elicia Thomson, Marketing and Engagement Officer, La Trobe University Shepparton Campus, will visit St Augustine's College on Monday 22nd May to meet with Year 12 students who are interested in submitting an application. The information session will be held in MR1 from 1pm-2pm. Elicia will visit again on Monday 14th August for a follow-up session. The dates and times are listed on the College Calendar.

UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test)
Students interested in pursuing medicine and dentistry need to sit the UCAT test in July/August 2023. MedEntry is a government-accredited Registered Training Organisation specialising in UCAT preparation. MedEntry offers free resources, discounts of 40% for groups of two or more, and many other discounts, including for those nominated by their teacher.
