Boarding News

Mrs. Kathryn Searle - Head of Boarding

Welcome to Week 2 in boarding.

All girls competed in the Interhouse Athletics Carnival yesterday in wet and cold conditions. Regardless of the weather conditions, the girls gave their all for their House, with quite a few returning personal bests on the day.

We had a house full of very tired girls on Wednesday evening with sore legs, arms, shoulders, feet, the list goes on.

Academic Awards

Congratulations to our boarders who received Academic Awards at Tuesday’s Academic Assembly for Semester 1.

Full pockets were awarded to:

Annabelle Lillecrapp (Year 7)

Roxy Bohn and Scarlett Fok (Year 10)

Abi Carr and Hannah McDonald (Year 11)

Vivian Au and Olivia Persse (Year 12)

Half Pockets awardees are:

Sherry Yang (Year 8)

Molly Lillecrapp (Year 9)

Kiki Bell and Sonia Ngai (Year 10)

Kaitlyn Ng (Year 11)

Kristal Hou (Year 12)

Please be reassured we are continuing to monitor the girls closely with the current COVID-19 wave. We are able to isolate your daughter safely in the Boarding House if she does return a positive result to a COVID-19 test.

Sadly, our Year 7 to 9 Disco has been cancelled for this Friday evening due to the current COVID-19 health situation. We are still moving ahead with social outings for the girls; however, these will be outdoor events only.
