In Term 3, we have a specific focus in our School Wide Positive Behaviour program on students engaging positively with staff and each other. Last Friday, we saw a great example of this when our year 11 students challenged the teachers in Dodge ball in our new gymnasium. There was a great atmosphere and a lot of fun was had by participating students and teachers as well as the large crowd. I was excited to be able to get my Dunlop Volleys out of mothballs and take part.
These types of activities are really important in keeping our Staughton Family connected as we return to school onsite this year. It has been great to see students embracing a variety of lunchtime and afterschool extracurricular activities.
We are particularly looking forward to the upcoming whole school production of The Horde. Performing Arts cast and crew have been working hard to bring the show to life and are excited to share their efforts with the Staughton Community.

In response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Reponses to Child Sexual Abuse, all schools are required to implement minimum Child Safety Standards.
At Staughton College, we hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school. We have fully implemented all of the standards, including a Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct. Both of these documents can be found on our website.
I will be regularly reminding our school community of these policies as part of our ongoing commitment to the safety and wellbeing of the children in our care.

We, at Staughton College, would like to show our respect and acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which our school is situated, of elders past and present. We extend a warm welcome to everyone who visits our school.
